Actor Vijay who has become the biggest star in Tamil movies after Rajinikanth and Ajith who is affectionately called as Dalpati Vijay by people, the new movie ‘Beast’ managed to set a new record in Tamil language due to his loud opening. But due to some movie distribution issues and movie issues, the movie failed to get the desired love in other parts of the country.
The Hindi version of the film has had a poor opening and this has led to actor Vijay’s second attempt to make it pan India after ‘Master’.
The record for highest opening in Tamil films so far was held by director ‘Sarkar’ by actor Vijay AR Murugadoss. Released in the year 2018, the film earned a total of Rs 32.84 crore on the first day of box office.
According to the initial figures of the first day’s earnings of the film ‘Beast’, till now, this film has managed to earn the highest on the first day among all the films released in Tamil language. The first day Tamil version of the film is said to have earned around Rs 33 crore.
According to the information, the film has not earned more than Rs 20 crore in all other Indian languages except Tamil. The opening of the film in North India was not good due to this. With the release of the film ‘KGF 2‘ on Thursday, now ‘Beast’ is finding it difficult to get more screens.
After ‘Sarkar’, Ajith’s film ‘Valimai’ is the highest-grossing film on the first day in Tamil language films, which earned Rs 28 crore on the first day of its release this year. After this again Vijay’s film ‘Master’, whose opening on the first day was Rs 25.26 crore.
