Bhojpuri film actress Anupama Pathak allegedly died by suicide at her home in the Mira Road area of the Mumbai metropolitan region, PTI reported Friday, citing police.
Ms. Pathak, who was from Bihar, appeared in several Bhojpuri movies and TV shows.
Anupama Pathak had shared in a Facebook video that she was misled and could not trust anyone. In the video, she talked about trust issues and not having friends who can be of help.
She allegedly committed suicide when her husband was not home, police said, adding that a suicide note was found.
Pathak, a native of the Purnea district in Bihar, had gone to Mumbai and worked on Bhojpuri movies and television shows. The news of her death came a day after television actor Sameer Sharma was found dead at her home in Mumbai.
