Durgavati is now titled Durgamati The Myth. Akshay Kumar took to social media today to share the news with a new poster. Akshay Kumar also reminded fans of the film’s release date. Starring Bhumi Pednekar in the title role, Durgamati will be released on Amazon Prime Video on December 11.

Durgamati is reportedly the Hindi remake of the southern film Bhagamathie, which originally starred Anushka Shetty in the title role.
Bhumi Pednekar’s will be seen in the role of an IAS officer in Durgamati. The film is a terrifying journey that tells the story of an innocent government official who is the victim of a major conspiracy involving powerful forces.
Durgamati also stars Arshad Warsi, Jishu Sengupta, Mahie Gill, Karan Kapadia, and others in key roles. The film is directed by Ashok and produced by Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films, T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar, Abundantia Entertainment’s Krishan Kumar, and Vikram Malhotra.
The movie starring Bhumi Pednekar has been shot in real locations in Madhya Pradesh. Durgamati will Release on Amazon Prime Video on December 11.
