Disney has moved the following three Marvel movies: Black Widow, Eternals and Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings. The Scarlett Johansson-directed solo film Black Widow was delayed for an additional six months from November 6 to May 7, 2021.
Black Widow is slated for release on May 7, 2021. The delay of these three films is just the latest in a series of postponements and reactions to the global pandemic. Theaters involve large gatherings of people, and although many theaters are now open again in the US and around the world.
Black Widow and Eternals are just a few of the major Disney movies that have seen dramatic changes in release dates due to the current Covid-19 pandemic. Shang-Chi’s debut will now take place two months later; Instead of May 7, 2021, the film will be released on July 9, 2021.
The long-awaited project, Eternals was originally scheduled to open in November 2020, but has been moved to February 2021. Eternals will now hit theaters on November 5, 2021.
