Deepika Padukone, who is currently under investigation by the Office of Narcotics Control bureau, reportedly agreed to discuss drugs with her manager, Karishma Prakash.
According to the Times Now report, the NCB team consists of 5 members led by Deputy Director, KPS Malhotra questioned Deepika Padukone in a drug case and reported that Deepika allegedly agreed to the drug talk with her manager Karishma.
Deepika Padukone arrived at the NCB office this morning. Her investigation is scheduled for today and office officials will question her about her alleged involvement in the purchase and use of drugs.
The chats in question reportedly date back to 2017, and in it, Deepika was allegedly talking to Karishma about ‘hashish, marijuana and maal’. Karishma Prakash is also present at the NCB Office for questioning.
Deepika was in Goa when she received a subpoena from NCB for the investigation. Deepika chartered a flight to Mumbai with Ranveer Singh and returned to the city. On Saturday morning, Deepika arrived at the NCB office at 10 a.m. for questioning by NCB officials.
The early NCB took over the investigation of this case after the Directorate of Enforcement found evidence of Rhea Chakraborty’s involvement in drugs during its investigation into the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Rhea is now in NCB custody until October 6.
