The film Brahmastra, which is releasing in theaters on September 9, is in tremendous discussion. While Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor’s film is being boycotted, its advance booking figures have given hope that the film will do well on the first day.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s film is making tremendous headlines at the moment. Even amid the Boycott trade, it is being estimated that the film will earn around Rs 30-35 crore on an opening day.
Trade analysts are saying this because the film’s advance booking figures have come to the fore. If reports are to be believed then Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar, has made a stellar debut at the box office, with over 2 lakh tickets sold for the first day and 3 for the first weekend in the national multiplex chain. Over a million tickets have been sold. These do not include single screens, most of these bookings will start today i.e. September 8.
There has been a jump in the advance booking figures of the film and now it is being said that the film can earn 30 to 35 crores on the first day. Trade analysts are also saying looking at the advance booking figures that it is one of the biggest figures in the history of Indian cinema.
By the way, Boycott is also doing tremendous business regarding the film. Let us tell that recently Alia-Ranbir and director Ayan Mukerji went to Ujjain to visit Mahakal but due to protests by Hindu organizations, they canceled their plan and they had to return without taking Mahakal’s blessings.
However, Ayan was able to go inside the temple. He also shared the photo on Instagram while visiting Mahakal. Let us tell you that apart from Ranbir-Alia, Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna are also in lead roles.
