The story of the film is quite different
Based in Mumbai, the story of this film has a Muslim majority area. There is a boy in this area and one is his girlfriend and both of them get married. Before marriage, the boy becomes a ticket collector in the railways. At home, he harassed his wife-turned-girlfriend and also beats her, but in the office, the boy is tortured by his boss. He even has to clean the toilet in the office.

Darlings is not quite a dark comedy or twisted suspenseful thriller. It is a simple story on a man vs woman fight who exploits his partner. At the same time, Shefali and Alia have shown a lot of performance in this film.
