Director Hansal Mehta is set to direct a web series about the notorious gangster. The filmmakers have decided to show the life of the man on the reel as if it were a story to tell of the most wanted criminal.
Dubey, who was carrying a five lakh rupee reward for the information leading to his arrest, was arrested in Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh on July 9.
He was killed in an encounter on the morning of July 10 when a police vehicle taking him from Ujjain to Kanpur had an accident and he tried to escape from the scene in the Bhauti area, police said.
Producer Shailesh Singh has acquired the rights to make the series about the gangster.
