The Walking Dead is on its way too, fans of the franchise are more than satisfied at this point. The first season of the new series entitled The Walking Dead: World Beyond, will consist of 10 episodes.
The series was co-created by Walking Dead Gimple and longtime TWD writer Matt Negrete, who will also serve as showrunner. Jordan Vogt-Roberts directs the pilot.
The Walking Dead: World Beyond was slated to premiere on Sunday, April 12th at 22:00. ET on AMC, following The Walking Dead season 10 finale. Based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard, The Walking Dead is the third TV series in the Walking Dead franchise.
The series will follow “two young female heroes” and focus on the first generation to come of age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, they all change forever. Grown and entrenched in their personality, both good and bad. ”
