Eternals will be Marvel Studios’ third theatrical release, following Black Widow (in theaters and on Disney +) and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (exclusively in theaters). Now, Marvel plans to follow Shang-Chi’s lead with Eternals. Although audiences are increasingly returning to theaters, the question remains: when will Eternals be available to stream?
Eternals will release Wednesday, January 12, 2022, on Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar, Marvel Studios announced. Eternals will be available in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam on Disney+ Hotstar in India.
What is Eternals about?
Based on Jack Kirby’s Marvel Comics series, Eternals centers around an immortal human species sent to Earth to protect humans from the Deviants, a monstrous race of near-immortal who have been genetically enhanced by the Celestials.
Eternals was written by Ryan Firpo and Matthew K. Firpo, with Chloé Zhao (The Rider, Nomadland) directing.
