Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2’ is taking the box office by storm. So far this movie has earned more than 450 crores. This is a sequel to the movie ‘Gadar Ek Prem Katha’ which was released 22 years ago. Even at that time, the film earned well. But despite giving a superhit film like ‘Gadar’, Sunny Deol was not getting work in the industry. The actor himself has revealed this in an interview.
In an interview with ‘BBC UK, Sunny Deol reminisced about the struggling times after ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’. Sunny Deol said “I had no problem before Gadar. But ‘Gadar’ was a huge hit and was also appreciated, But still, I was not getting work. This happened. Because – the world was changing and the Hindi film industry was becoming Bollywood.”
Sunny Deol added, “I have not worked with industry bigwigs or big companies. Because – I couldn’t relate to them. I haven’t done any big work or been a part of any popular film after ‘Gadar’.”
Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel are playing the lead roles in the blockbuster movie ‘Gadar 2’. The film has also broken many records by earning bumpers at the box office. The film has also surpassed ‘KGF 2’ in Hindi in terms of earnings.
