This film is now going to be released on the OTT platform Netflix. The film, which was released in Taiwan’s cinemas on March 18 this year, broke all records at the box office there and has become the highest-grossing film so far in 2022. This blockbuster film is going to be released in India on Netflix on July 8.
Incantesh is directed by Kevin Co, who has previously been known there for horror films like Invitation Only in 2009.
Incantation is a found footage horror film based on the true incident of an incident that happened to a family belonging to a cult in Taiwan.
The film tells that someone has got the video of this incident and the same plays in front of the audience in the form of a film. Due to being based on true events, people have shown great interest in it.
As a result, the film set the record for the highest box office earnings of any horror film in Taiwan so far. Incantation has become the highest-grossing horror film in Taiwan’s history. It earned $5.7 million (Rs 45 crore) at the box office.
