Disney released the first trailer for Indiana Jones and the Call of Fate (Indiana Jones 5), highlighting a lot of adventure in the new film. During CCXP 2022, the studio revealed the preview, featuring the oldest adventurer, on a new mission to save the world.
In addition to his return, the trailer brings back Sallah, a character known from other films in the saga, as well as new characters (via CBR ).
From the trailer, even old, Dr. Henry Jones Jr continues to teach archeology and has apparently retired his hat and whip.

In Indiana Jones 5, the character is still in the Cold War period, in 1969, during the space race era. However, he will be at odds with Voller, a former Nazi scientist who now works for NASA.
The cast of the film features Harrison Ford in the role of Indiana Jones, Mads Mikkelsen as Voller, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Boyd Holbrook, among others.
James Mangold (Logan) is directing the film, while franchise creator Steven Spielberg is one of the producers. Jez Butterworth and John-Henry Butterworth wrote the script.
Indiana Jones 5 hits theaters on June 30, 2023.
