Who was JP Narayan
Jaya Prakash Narayan was an Indian freedom fighter and politician. He is best known for leading the opposition against Indira Gandhi in 1970. To remove Indira Gandhi, he started a movement called ‘Sampoorna Kranti’. He was a social worker, also known as ‘Lok Nayak’. He was posthumously awarded the Bharat Ratna in 1999.
