Kangana Ranaut shared the poster for the film on Twitter and wrote: “#Tejas will take off in December. The actress took to social media to announce the news. In the film, Kangana will be seen playing an Indian Air Force pilot.
The actress also shared a new movie poster in which she is seen standing in front of an IAF fighter jet. Tejas is the story of a daring and fierce fighter pilot, played by Kangana Ranaut. The Indian Air Force was the first of the country’s defense forces to incorporate women into combat roles in 2016.

Talking about the film, director Sarvesh Mewara said, “We celebrate our armed forces and I hope to further evoke a spirit of patriotism and nationalism through my storytelling. Kangana is a strong woman with a voice that resonates with the youth of this nation and I cannot wait to begin to shoot with her,” he said.
