Madhavan’s Film Maara and Shraddha Srinath is the next Tamil film to take the OTT route. Maara, starring Madhavan and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles, will premiere worldwide on Amazon Prime Video on December 17. Produced by Prateek Chakravorty and Shruti Nallappa of Pramod Films, the film was directed by newcomer Dhilip Kumar.
Maara is the official Tamil remake of the critically acclaimed Malayalam film Charlie, starring Duqluer Salmaan and Parvathy in the lead roles. The film also stars Sshivada, Moulee, Alexander Babu, and others in prominent roles.
R Madhavan’s film Tamil Maara will skip the theatrical release and will headline the amazon prime video. The actor is gearing up for the world premiere of his Telugu movie Nishabdham on Amazon Prime Video on October 2.
Nishabdham is directed by Hemant Madhukar and stars Madhavan and Anushka at the helm. It will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 2, 2020. In it, Madhavan plays the role of a famous musician named Anthony, and Anushka Shetty plays the role of an artist with a speech disability.
