At that time this film of Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar was called an anti-Hindu film at that time. There were many people who opposed this film, but still the film was supported. Religious leaders were shown to be victims of corruption in Oh My God, released in 2012. His fast was also shown to be false and hypocritical. During that time there was opposition to this as well.

Now the teaser of ‘Oh My God-2’ has come and this film has been surrounded by controversies since its inception. According to the teaser, Akshay Kumar is in the role of Shiva. In the previous film, he played the character of Krishna Vasudev Yadav aka Lord Krishna. 

In the teaser that has come for the time being, the devotee of Bholenath ( Pankaj Tripathi ) has been shown. Bholenath himself comes to him to solve his problems. There is a scene in the teaser in which the Jalabhishek ceremony of Akshay Kumar who became Bholenath is shown. This anointing is being done at the railway station with the water supplied in the train. People have started trolling Akshay Kumar and the entire ‘Oh My God’ team regarding this scene. 

Actually, people say that the water used in this scene of the film is dirty water and it is like playing with the sentiments of Hindus.    

Some people have also mentioned about Akshay Kumar’s Canadian passport. Significantly, some similar controversies had come to the fore in 2012 as well, but at that time the matter was not that big.
