Tamil TV actress VJ Chithra committed suicide. She was 28 years old. Known for playing the role of Mullai on the popular show Pandian Stores. She was reportedly found hanging in a five-star hotel in Nazarethpettai, Chennai.
Reports also said that VJ Chithra had finished filming at EVP Film City and had returned to his hotel room at 2:30 a.m. today. He was staying with his fiancé, businessman Hemanth, to who he got engaged a few months ago.
Chitra is best known for her role on the Pandian Stores series currently airing on Vijay TV. She was playing the role of Mullai in the series. She began her career as a television presenter and became a popular actress. It was also said that she signed an upcoming film in Tamil to play a key role.
The news of Chitra’s death has shocked many of her fans.
