Filming for Adipurush, starring Prabhas, is scheduled for February 2. The movie will see Prabhas playing the role of Ram while Saif Ali Khan playing the role of Ravan. Director Om Raut is employing this cutting edge technology to shoot this epic movie.
The creators claim to create a complete world of Adipurush with the latest technology, commonly used in international cinema. Adipurush is an adaptation of the Ramayana. The motto of the film reads: “Celebrating the victory of good over evil.”
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh also made the announcement about the film’s shooting on Twitter. He wrote, “PRABHAS: #ADIPURUSH STARTS, MAHURAT ON 2 FEB 2021… #Adipurush [3D] commenced with motion capture – the technology commonly used in international cinema – today [19 Jan 2021]… Stars #Prabhas and #SaifAliKhan… Directed by #OmRaut. #Prabhas22.”
The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar of T-Series and Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles. Adipurush will be filmed in Hindi and Telugu. It is scheduled to release on August 11, 2022, in Tamil, Malayalam, and more.
