On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, the creators of ‘Adipurush’ have announced the new release date of the film. The Om Raut director will hit theaters on January 12, 2023.
Sharing the update, Prabhas, who will be seen headlining the project, took to Instagram and wrote, “#Adipurush Worldwide Theatrical Release in 3D on 12th Jan 2023.”
Adipurush is a 3D film based on Ramayana. While Prabhas will play the role of Lord Ram, Saif Ali Khan will be essaying the role of Ravana. Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh, Devdatta Nage, Vatsal Sheh, and Trupti Toradmal have been roped in to play supporting roles.
Adipurush has been shot in Hindi and Telugu. It will release in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada as well. Bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series, the film will hit theatres on 12 January 2023.
