This one, the opening sequence of Raat Akeli Hai, a Netflix original film directed by debutant Honey Trehan, culminates in a double murder. The stage is set for a killer thriller.
The film is about a small-town policeman, (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) Jatil Yadav, who is assigned the task of solving the murder case of a wealthy industrial/political figure. The suspects are all members of his family, including his lover-turned-wife Radha (Radhika Apte). However, there are several obstacles in his investigation including local politician Munna Yadav Aditya Srivastava and his own conflicting heart.
The movie is a great selection and all shows are good. Nawazuddin is my friend as a policeman looking for the murderer and his bride is awesome.
The film explores violence, corruption, and the relationship between the police and the state, politicians, and their followers as Yadav begins determined to find the truth, no matter how many buttons he has to press.
Radhika Apte is magnificent in the role of a mysterious mistress who is supposed to be a victim of her circumstances and society. Her series with Nawazuddin Siddiqui is among the most prominent events.
Raat Akeli Hai is a story that doesn’t preach. It is said to be thanks to powerful cinematography, sound design, lighting, and scenario.
The Raat Akeli Hai will not surprise you or keep you on the edge of your seat, but the captured killing mystery has left the Indian film industry in a long time.
