Rhea Chakraborty Drugs Case: NCB has made a big revelation in the drug case related to the death of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The NCB has claimed in its chargesheet that Sushant Singh Rajput’s alleged girlfriend, actress Rhea Chakraborty, along with her brother Showik, had repeatedly bought cannabis from other accused and given it to actor Sushant Singh. Drug suppliers include Riya Chakraborty’s brother Shauvik, Samuel Miranda, and Dipesh Sawant.
The NCB had recently filed a draft of charges in the NDPS court against 35 accused in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, which was heard on Tuesday. The investigation into how actor Sushant Singh Rajput died was handed over to the CBI.
At the same time, the NCB is investigating the matter from a drug angle. The NCB is investigating whether drugs were involved in Sushant’s death.
Allegations against Shawvik too
NCB indictment states that Riya’s brother Shauvik was in contact with drug peddlers. It has been alleged that Shauvik used to order drugs, which were later sent to Sushant Singh Rajput’s house. All the accused mentioned in it had exchanged drugs between March and December 2020.
Bail granted to several accused
Rhea was sued by the NCB in 2020 and summoned on September 6,7,8 September 2020 for his investigation. She was later arrested on September 8. The same day, the court sent her to Tarugan. A month later, she was granted bail on October 7.
