Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor star in the horror-comedy film Roohi Hit On Opening Day Box Office. the film, which opened in theaters on March 11, Roohi’s film grossed ₹ 3.06 crore on its opening day, Thursday.
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh, sharing the movie’s box office report, wrote on Twitter: “#Roohi springs a pleasant surprise on Day 1, despite #Covid pandemic… #MahaShivratri holiday proves advantageous… National multiplexes contribute maximum [approx 1.89 cr], while Tier-2 cities show decent footfalls… Thu 3.06 cr. #India biz (sic).”
Release of Roohi Film in post-Covid time, the earnings of Rs 3cr on an opening day can be described as good. However, the pandemic and the coronavirus shutdown shut down movie theaters across the country last year. this year, Roohi Film is the biggest opening at the box office.
The film starred Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Varun Sharma in the lead roles. Roohi’s film is directed by Hardik Mehta and produced by Dinesh Vijan under the Maddock Films banner.
