Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story now has a release date. The film, directed by Hansal Mehta, will premiere on SonyLIV on 9 October 1992. The Harshad Mehta Story Series is based on the book by The Scam by Debashish Basu and Sucheta Dalal.
The series will feature Prateik Gandhi, Shreya Dhanvantari, and Sharib Hashmi in the lead roles. The series will also see Satish Kaushik, Nikhil Dwivedi, Anant Mahadevan, Rajat Kapoor, Lalit Parimu, KK Raina, etc.
The film set-in in Bombay in the 1980s and 1990s, Scam 1992 follows the life of Harshad Mehta, a stockbroker who single-handedly took the stock market to the heights of its heights and its devastation. Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Hansal Mehta, the series is based on the book “The Scam” by journalists Debashis Basu and Sucheta Dalal.
Scam 1992 Scam: The Harshad Mehta story wrapped up in March of this year. Hansal Mehta tweeted, “We wrapped a mammoth 85 days shoot spanning 6 months, 550 pages, 170+ characters and 200+ locations. It was tough but eventually satisfying. A great team saw this (and is still seeing it) through all the limitations and adversities. #Scam1992 is THEIR show. Thank you team!”
Scam 1992: Harshad Mehta Story will start on the OTT platform SonyLiv. The series will begin streaming on SonyLIV from 9 October.
