Shamshera – Story of a Dacoit Tribe
The story of the film is based on the fictional town named Kaza. The people of this city are victims of the crimes of Shuddh Singh (Sanjay Dutt). On the other hand, Shamshera (Ranbir Kapoor) is a dreaded dacoit, who wants to free people from these crimes.
The film begins with the character of Balli (Shamshera’s son) who is imprisoned by Shuddh Singh. He wants to free the people of his tribe from there, but for that he has to come out of his own captivity. As soon as he comes out of the captivity of the British, reaches the city and goes there and starts collecting gold by committing robbery. He commits robberies posing as Shamshera so that in exchange for the stolen gold, he can get the people of his tribe free from the clutches of Sanjay Dutt and the British. The story then goes into a flashback and Balli learns about his father Shamshera. You have to watch this movie to know the further story.
Talking about acting
The entire star cast of the film has done justice to his performance. Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Vaani Kapoor – all three have played their roles to the best of their ability. Seeing Ranbir, who was seen in the rustic look, there was applause in theaters. At the same time, Sanjay Dutt also played the role of a brilliant villain. Vaani Kapoor has surprised everyone with her on-screen chemistry.
Overall this is a fine film. Neither very great nor bad but acting is the life of Ranbir Kapoor’s film and if you are a fan of Ranbir Kapoor then you will love this film. This film is also a treat for the fans of Sanjay Dutt.
