Sonu Sood arranged charter flight for Indian students stranded in Kyrgyzstan for their return.

Actor Sonu Sood arranged a charter flight for stranded Indian students in Kyrgyzstan for their return.

The actor added that the flight will take off the next day, July 23, and has been rescheduled due to weather conditions. The updated flight time will be announced by the actor later in the day.

Sonu Sood wrote on Twitter, “Hi students of Kyrgyzstan, just to update all of you we are postponing the flight from KYRGYZSTAN—VARANASI to tomorrow, 23rd July due to weather conditions. Students who have not registered, kindly do it today. The timings of the flight for tomorrow I will update in few hours.”

Previously, the actor had announced that the flight would take off on July 22 from Bishkek from Kyrgyzstan to Varanasi.

He wrote, “This is to inform to all the students of Kyrgyzstan that it’s time to come home. We are operating the first charter Bishkek -Varanasi on 22nd July. The details of which will be sent to your email id and mobile phones in a while. Charters for other states will also fly this week (sic).”

Sonu Sood has turned out to be a real-life hero for migrant workers and for those who are left out. He has been organizing buses and flights for them. Recently, he has donated 25,000 face shields to police personnel in Maharashtra.
