It has been more than two years for the famous Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The sudden departure of Sushant Singh was a matter of shock for everyone. When Sushant Singh suddenly said goodbye to this world on June 14, no one could believe it. His alleged girlfriend Riya Chakraborty had a fight with him a few days back and she left the house. When this news reached him, he thought it was a lie, but gradually he became convinced of this news.
In this case, Riya Chakraborty had to face jail due to the drug angle coming to the fore. He had to stay in jail for a month. Meanwhile, once again Riya’s problems have increased in the drug case. The Narcotics Control Bureau, in its draft charge in the drugs case, has claimed that he, along with his brother Sauvik, delivered ganja several times and then gave it to Sushant. Along with this, there have been more shocking revelations about Riya.
NCB made serious allegations against Riya
NCB also told in its draft charge that Sushant was getting the delivery of drugs from the year 2018. Last month, drafts were filed against 35 accused in the court, the details of which came out on Tuesday. NCB claims that Sushant Singh Rajput was getting drugs from different people and his staff. In the charge sheet, NCB also said that Pithani used to buy drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput from his own bank account and it was named as Pooja material.
The draft also said that in 2020, drugs were bought by the other accused including the actor’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani. On the other hand, Riya Chakraborty is accused of smuggling narcotics in the Mumbai region without a valid license permit and consuming ganja, charas, cocaine and other intoxicants. According to the draft, Riya committed an offense under Section 8(C) of the NDPS Act 1985 along with 20[b][ii] A, 27A, 28, 29 and 30.
Can be jailed for 10 years
Riya also paid for these deliveries between March 2020 and September 2020 at the behest of Sushant and Sauvik. He bought and gave drugs for Sushant. If found guilty, Riya could face up to 10 years in prison. The matter will be heard in the special court on July 27.
Let us tell you that Riya Chakraborty has not been successful in films. He acted in many films but not a single film was a hit. At the same time, it has become even more difficult for him to get work after his name got attached to Sushant and after being jailed for the drugs angle. Rhea was last seen in the film Chehre which starred Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles.
