Christopher Nolan’s latest film Tenet will be released on Friday, December 4 in cinemas across India, the long-awaited film released in other parts of the world in August and September. However, it will debut in India on December 4.
Tenet has conducted a worldwide business of approximately $ 357.8 million (about Rs. 2,632 crores) so far, making it the highest-grossing film of 2020 globally. It will be interesting to see how much the Indian box office can contribute to the global total.
According to a report by Box office India, Tenet obtained an excellent early booking with the sale of more than 25 thousand tickets during the last weekend. The number is not only good considering COVID-19 but even the run-up to the pandemic.
The film was released in theaters in the US and in various parts of the world, a few months ago and had had good collections considering the coronavirus.
The generously shot Hollywood big-budget movie is already getting a huge response, especially for its IMAX format. The film will be released on December 4 in India and if it receives positive feedback from the audience.
Tenet’s cast includes John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Martin Donovan, Fiona Dourif, Yuri Kolokolnikov, Himesh Patel, Clémence Poésy, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, with Michael Caine and Kenneth Branagh.
