Rimi Sen’s film career
Rimi Sen started her acting career with a Coca-Cola commercial opposite Aamir Khan. After which he started getting offers for many films. Sen made her debut as a lead actress in the Telugu film Nee Thodu Kavali. Her first Hindi film was Vijay Galani’s Hungama which was released in 2003. It was a comedy film, in which he worked with Akshaye Khanna, Aftab Shivdasani and Paresh Rawal.
Rimi worked in big budget films like Dhoom, Kyun Ki, Garam Masala and Golmaal in her career. Apart from this, Sen also did a cameo in the 2006 film Dhoom 2. In 2008, she appeared in De Tali and in 2009, Sankat City and Horn OK Please. All these three films were a hit at the box office. But after these films, her career declined. After this she appeared in the films Thank You and Shagird in 2011. But both the films were flops.
Rimi Sen is now away from acting but is trying her hand in politics. Actually, now she has changed her name to Shubhamitra and is very active on social media with the same name.
