Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai tweeted – Vivek Agnihotri has shown very frightening and touching scenes in the film, so he is worthy of praise. He further said during which Kashmiri Pandits were expelled from their homes. It started in the 90s. He said that we will give full support to this film so that people come forward to watch it, so we are making this film tax free in Karnataka.

‘The Kashmir Files’ has been made tax free in Gujarat. This information has come from the Chief Minister’s Office. The Haryana government has already made this film tax free for six months.

‘The Kashmir Files -‘ which has become tax free in Madhya Pradesh too . Along with Haryana and Gujarat, now ‘The Kashmir Files’ has also been made tax free by the Madhya Pradesh government. According to news agency ANI, this information has been given by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan himself.

Let us tell you that ‘The Kashmir Files’ is getting all-round praise. The film also got a 10/10 rating on IMDB, which is hardly any Hindi film before. ‘The Kashmir Files’ released on March 11. The film depicts the pain of the 1990 massacre of Kashmiri Pandits and the subsequent exodus. It stars Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumar and Mithun Chakraborty. The film has been released in only 550 screens across the country, but in two days, the film has earned Rs 12.05 crore.
