Amazon Prime Video has released the first trailer for The Lie. The film was written and directed by Veena Sud.
The Lie Movie story Peter Sarsgaard and Mireille Enos play a desperate couple whose teenage daughter Joey King confesses to impulsively murdering her best friend, forcing them to cover up a terrible crime. Naturally, this decision only led them further into an intricate web of lies and deception.
The Lie, a psychological drama thriller film written and directed by Veena Sud, stars Mireille Enos (The Killing), Peter Sarsgaard (An Education), and Joey King (The Kissing Booth 2, The Act).
The first trailer for Joey King’s new film The Lie has been released. The film is one of five films that debuted under Amazon’s “Welcome to Blumhouse” show.
The Lie Produced by Alix Madigan-Yorkin, Christopher Tricarico, and Jason Blum. Executives are produced by Howard Green, Kim Hodgert, Jeanette Volturno, Couper Samuelson, and Aaron Barnett.
The Lie will premiere October 6 on Amazon Prime, so watch the trailer below.
