The Other Two, the comedy series from former SNL co-writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider, has gotten a pickup on the third season of HBO Max. The first season of “The Other Two” was a huge success. Combined with comedy performed exclusively by co-writer Chris Kelly, co-director of SNL, the series mixed fan emotions with pure entertainment.
“The Other Two” premiered on Comedy Central in January 2019 and was renewed the next month. But when the Viacom-owned channel shifted its programming strategy to focus on adult animation, HBO Max bought “The Other Two” in August 2020, and premiered the second season last month.

This renewal announcement was made on the same day as Season 2 concluded. HBO Max renewed the series for a third season on September 24, 2021.
