The first series of the show, starring Henry Cavill in the lead role, was filmed in a series of European destinations, from Hungary to Poland and the Canary Islands.

The Witcher season 2 was filmed entirely in the United Kingdom within various filming locations, including West Sussex, Cumbria, Surrey, North Yorkshire, Count Durham, and Berkshire in England.

The first season of The Witcher visited many European locations to film, including Slovakia and Scotland. However, the pandemic halted any travel outside the UK which prompted the crew to begin filming entirely in Britain.
