The Accidental Prime Minister

Kangana Ranaut played the late actress-politician Jayalalithaa in the 2021 film ‘Thalaivi’. Actor Arvind Swami played the role of actor-politician MG Ramachandran in the film. Filmmaker AL Vijay directed the film, which released in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.

Jayalalithaa’s path as an actor, politician and female role model in Indian politics is described in the film. She served as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu six times for a total of 14 years, which is an outstanding achievement.

‘Sardar’ is a 1993 biographical drama on one of India’s greatest freedom fighters, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The film featured Paresh Rawal as Sardar Patel and was an account of Sardar Patel’s political life. 

An Insignificant Man
