Actor Tusshar Kapoor announced on Tuesday his new movie titled ‘Maarrich,’ which also stars Naseeruddin Shah. Tusshar Kapoor will be seen as a cop in the movie. Directed by director Dhruv Lather.
Tusshar Kapoor took of social media to share the announcement and posted two photos from the film’s set. In the first photo, the actor is seen dressed as a policeman, while in the other he is with Naseeruddin Shah, who plays a Catholic priest.
Tusshar Kapoor tweeted, “Almost 20 yrs down this wonderful journey of making stories come to life, beginning 2021 with #Maarrich..a departure from my usual style, a film that challenges me to evolve as an actor! Excited to share glimpses, even more, excited to share screen space with Naseer Sir after long (sic)”.
Maarrich was the name of a demon from the Indian epic Ramayana. “Maarrich” also stars Anita Hassanandani, Naseeruddin Shah.
Recently, Tusshar Kapoor was also the producer of Laxmii, the horror comedy starring Akshay Kumar, which opened to tepid criticism in November last year.
