Jersey is the latest Hindi sports drama directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri. It is the remake version of the Nani movie Jersey (2019). The film is jointly produced by Allu Arvind, Aman Gil, Dil Raju, Suryadevara Naga Vamsi. Jersey, which is the Hindi remake of the 2019 Telugu film of the same name, features Shahid Kapoor as a talented but failed cricketer who decides to get up again and re-enter the game at thirty for the sake of his son. The film stars Mrunal Thakur as Shahid Kapoor’s wife and Pankaj Kapur as his mentor.
The story revolves around the 36-year-old cricketer who stopped playing and returned to play in the Indian team. The film is slated to release on December 31, 2021 (Friday).
