The highly-anticipated sports drama is helmed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and written by Anjum Rajabali.Toofaan which will stream on Amazon Prime Video in India and across 240 countries and territories starting July 16, 2021. Toofaan film features Farhan Akhtar, Paresh Rawal, Mrunal Thakur, and Isha Talwar in the lead roles.
The film, which was scheduled to premiere on May 21 and was postponed due to the outbreak of the second wave of the coronavirus, will now air on Amazon Prime Video on July 16.
In the movie, Farhan will be seen as a national boxing player. The movie has been shot in Mumbai in real places like Dongri slums and India Gate.
