Fans of 1980s fantasy are in for a new dose of Willow when the Disney+ series starring Warwick Davis premieres on November 30 and continues the story of Ron Howard’s classic film.
Willow series is now available on Disney+! This fantastic adventure for the whole family serves as a follow-up to the movie Willow: Into the Land of Magic, released in 1988. With the premiere of the production, the public wants to know: is the series worth watching?
As with the original film, Willow’s cast is led by Warwick Davis (The Leprechaun) as the title character. The series also features Ruby Cruz (Mare of Easttown), Ellie Bamber (Nocturnal Animals) and Joanne Whalley (The Borgias).

According to Helen O’Hara, from the website Empire , Willow should not be compared to modern fantasy series such as Game of Thrones, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and The House of the Dragon.
“Willow is unapologetically traditional fantasy, with no pretensions to the dark style of Game Of Thrones or the cultural depth of The Lord of the Rings. But it also has vivid characters, scary moments and fun obstacles.
